Police have seized 3,801 petrol bombs, 921 gas canisters and 588 chemicals, including acid and other corrosive liquids, during their search of the university.

A group of rioters clad in black were practising to hurl petrol bombs at the swimming pool of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University recently. The entire swimming pool was turned into a training ground for rioters. Police in the media conference yesterday expressed that university campuses have become the ‘factory’ and training centre for rioters.
